SEND TOBIAS TO THE NEW YORK CITY MARATHON

Tobias Daniels co-owner of Dance Kids will be running the 2009 ING New York City Marathon on the morning of Sunday November 1^st, 2009. As part of his commitment to training, he is partnering with Gilda’s Club to help raise funds for their free cancer support centers. Tobias’ personal fund raising goal is three thousand dollars by December 1^st, 2009.

Tobias is proud that through Dance Kids he can raise awareness for Gilda’s legacy. “Gilda's Club is named in honor of Saturday Night Live comedian Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. Gilda dreamed that all people affected by cancer, as well as their families and friends, would have access to the same kind of emotional and social support that she received during her illness.”

Teacher's Discovery - Fall '09

Fall 2009 Teacher's Discovery catalogue comes out this week!

Dance Kids is thrilled to announce that Salsa with Me will be featured in this fall's Elementary Spanish Teacher's Discovery catalogue. The catalogue will be released this week to over 500,000 teacher's and students across the country.

Atlanta Performance

Dance Kids, a children's media company hits Atlanta this August as a sponsored performer at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's - 2009 National HIV Prevention Conference. Dance Kids star Marissa Chrysler will choreograph a group of local Georgia youth in a high energy Salsa extravaganza.

The 2009 National HIV Prevention Conference will be held August 23-26, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta & Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The conference hopes to "Share effective prevention approaches and research findings among governmental, community, and academic partners in HIV prevention."(CDC) Dance Kids is thrilled to showcase this high energy Latin dance to the local community and academic partners.

Dance Kids (www.dancekids.tv) produces the children's dance and cultural DVD Salsa with Me, which teaches children and parents Salsa, Spanish, and the culture of Puerto Rico and Cuba.
